The Stagners: Q is for Quick!

Well today is the day....Our little angel is ONE! We cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by yet we are so excited for the years to come. Gabe and I are constantly mesmerized with Quinn's BIG personality. He has become such a little comedian and we enjoy nothing more than watching him ham it up! I sometimes get overwhelmed with the challenge and responsibility of shaping this little ones life... but I always come back to the fact that God has entrusted us and therefore He will equip us!

So, today we took Quinn to have a special birthday lunch at Chuck E Cheese with Mommy, Daddy, Tia, Nana, Auntie, Nanny and Dear who flew in from New Orleans for the birthday festivities. Quinn loved meeting Chuck E Cheese (is that his name?) and had a blast riding all of the rides. After all of the excitement from the day, and once Quinn came down from his sugar high, we had a quiet dinner at home and a walk through the neighborhood. Gabe and I cherish our quiet time with Quinn before bedtime but tonight we decided to be daring and try to get Quinn to take some steps on his own. And Daddy was right... Quinn was ready as can be and just walked from Gabe to me over and over again! What a way to end such a special day!
