January:: Had a fabulous family vacay to Cabo. Learned we were expecting baby number two!

February: Witnessed God's mercy and grace as He saw our family through a challenging time. Played in the record snowfall that fell on Dallas. Pretty sure I got the swine flu- never been sicker!
March:: GQ said goodbye to pull-ups and hello to superhero under-roos. Saw our little peanut inside my tummy for the first time. Played in more snow!

April:: Celebrated our big boy turning 3!! Learned that he would have a brother and I began my desperate attempt to convince Gabe that Henry was the perfect name for him! Enjoyed a beautiful Easter Sunday Service and multiple egg hunts with family and friends.

May:: Celebrated Mothers Day with a full day of sleep. Visited Watermark and found a new church home (thank you Heather, for helping us to feel at home in a big place). Saw how our sweet baby was growing.

June:: Spent a lot of time at the pool. GQ took swim lessons and channeled his inner fish. Said adios to my 20's with my lovely friends. Celebrated my fabulous Husband and the wonderful Fathers in our lives on Father's Day.

July:: Took GQ to his first movie. Enjoyed more pool time and generally anything that kept me and my expanding baby bump cool. Celebrated our countries independance at Mom and Mike's with the fam. Saw how big our sweet baby brother was getting!

August:: Finally started working on the nursery thanks to a productive visit from Dad. GQ had his last day of MDO and we said goodbye to the teachers he's had since he started at 18 months.
September:: Celebrated Labor Day with a lazy last day at the pool. GQ had his first day of pre-school. Prepared to welcome our sweet baby.

October:: Laid eyes on our precious baby boy, Bennett Doak. Love at first sight for Gabe and I...GQ wasn't quite as sure. GQ played in his first soccer game. Trick or Treated with the cutest Spiderman ever, B and his new baby friends!

November:: Gabe said adios to his 20's. Grew acquainted with our newest member and with being a family of four. Enjoyed two delish thanksgiving feasts with our wonderful families while feeling incredibly grateful for all that God has blessed us with.

December:: Wrapped a lot of presents and tried to remember to move Batman, our elf on the shelf, every night. Celebrated our Savior's Birth. Rang in the new year with dear friends and lots of babies. My, how things can change in a year!

And one last image to warm your heart::

Beautiful Recap! Beautiful Family! Wonderful Friends!
If Hattie would have been a boy, her/his name would have been Henry Doak! Your boys are adorable!!!
Thanks Nic ;) The exersaucer thing is by the front door ready for you once this ice melts. Sorry it took so long!
Maegan- thats crazy! I L.O.V.E the name Henry. I tried to name both of my boys Henry but obviously didn't win that battle! Doak is so uncommon...It's a family name for us- you too?
Shelle!! I'm SOOO glad you are back! What a full year of blessings your family had! Miss you, friend!
